Yoga & Chinese Medicine: A Holistic Partnership
Yoga and Chinese medicine are a wonderful pairing, offering women holistic support as they move through life’s hormonal transitions. Our online studio brings together the wisdom of both traditions, using gentle movement, mindful breath, and the principles of Chinese medicine to create a yoga experience that deeply honors women’s health.
Practicing yoga inspired by Chinese medicine means working not just with the body, but with energy, emotion, and seasonal rhythms, helping you build comfort, strength, and balance at every stage.
Nourishment, Resilience & Community
Each session blends meaningful movement with restorative breathing, grounding practices, and insights rooted in Chinese medicine, addressing symptoms like hot flushes, anxiety, emotional overwhelm, and fatigue. You’ll be guided with practical, accessible routines and supportive modifications, making this a welcoming space whether you are new to yoga or returning after a break.
Yin and Pins on the Redcliffe Peninsula
Yin and Pins is a combination of yin yoga and acupuncture. It is a 90 minute monthly class on the Redcliffe Peninsula, created for anyone who would like to slow down and spend time in a calm, supportive space.
Each class follows a theme, supporting balance, calm, and a sense of flow from week to weekend.
We begin with gentle yin yoga, holding postures for longer to ease tension in the body and allow the mind to settle. The class finishes with an extended savasana where you receive acupuncture, with points chosen to reflect the theme we are exploring together.
This is a quiet, steady class. No experience with yoga or acupuncture is needed. Just a willingness to lie down, breathe, and be part of a small group of people taking time out from busy lives.

Online Perimenopause – Menopause Yoga Classes
Our online yoga classes for perimenopause and menopause are funded by Moreton Heathy and Active, and City of Moreton Bay. Some of the themes include:
Yoga for Hot Flushes: Movements and breathing practices to help manage heat, calm the nervous system, and encourage cooling.
Yoga for Meno-rage: A class focused on helping you work with feelings of rage, anger, and frustration that can arise during perimenopause and menopause. Gentle movement and breath techniques support emotional release and balance.
Yoga for Anxiety and Overwhelm: Practices to settle busy thoughts, slow racing energy, and support grounding and relaxation.
Yoga for Strength and Vitality: Simple routines to help build strength, improve balance, and support energy, even through hormonal shifts.
Yoga as a women’s health practice nourishes you from the inside out, offering steadiness and renewal through hormonal shifts and the stressors of modern life. Our approach prioritizes self-kindness and awareness, helping you reconnect with your body’s wisdom and cultivate resilience and vitality.
The online studio is a place for you to rest, move, and learn in community, supported by teaching that blends traditional knowledge with modern needs.
All classes are accessible online, so you can join from your own space, at your own pace.
No prior yoga experience is needed; everyone is welcome.
