Acupuncturists have hundred's of hours in clinical training in needling and Chinese medicine theory which differentiates them from dry needling practitioners that are usually trained in weekend courses.
There a number of disorders that have been recognised by the World Health Organisation as being successfully treated by acupuncture and the Acupuncture Evidence Project has identified the effectiveness of acupuncture in over 120 conditions.
